Devarana Spa proudly announces the exciting new opening at The Dusit Thani, Maldives Mudhoo Island, Baa Atoll in 2012. The exquisite resort is located on the breathtaking Mudhoo Island, northwest of Malé.

The new Devarana Spa, Maldives will be extraordinary, not only for the gorgeous location among the tropical rainforest in the Indian Ocean, but also for the treetop architectural design concept that blends beautifully into it. The whole construction and landscape have been well created for the guests to really feel the pure relaxation and the reconnection to the nature. Aligned with Devarana Spa concept, the spa interior incorporates contemporary Thai décor reflecting its ‘garden in heaven’ concept derived from the ancient Thai literature of the Sukhothai Dynasty in 1345 A.D ‘Tribhumphraruang’ blending with the charming elements of tropical Mudhdoo Island to create a cultural and sensory journey for spa lovers.

At the front of the main building, the magnificent spa reception hall is elegantly presented with the ‘garden in heaven’ theme. The hall is connected to the foot massage and manicure-pedicure areas. Along sides the main building, eight deluxe treatment pods lie nicely in a step layer, with the front two built on the ground and the latter six dangled up to the trees. Accessing the pods over the sky bridge, guests can inhale the welcoming fresh air while feeling the embrace of lush green vegetation. All of the luxurious ensuite pods are inclusive of private changing area, built-in steam shower, toilet facility, and optional bathtub. And available for pre-or post treatments, the spa guests can fully enjoy the tranquil space of private pool, sauna, and steam rooms hidden in the middle of the scenic forest outside the back of the main building.

The spa draws on authentic Thai healing therapies and western disciplines to offer a host of ‘East meets west’ treatments, while using world-class products, fresh Thai herbs, and indigenous ingredients on the island to create inspiring locally-influenced treatments. The comprehensive spa menu is available with full range of Devarana Spa’s massages and treatments including Harmony of Tad Si, the ancient Thai art of four-element therapy, Heavenly Nantha Garden, a perfect unwinding aromatherapy experience for dream island vacation, plus the special beach menu selection, Sun-Sea-Sand Delight. All treatments are to be performed by skilled Thai spa therapists to deliver the authentic Thai spa experience and Thailand’s legendary hospitality in a graceful traditional Thai manner.
